Dr. Avan Jassawalla (Ph.D., Syracuse University, Management) is Distinguished Professor of Management in the School of Business at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Geneseo. Dr. Jassawalla’s research into high-tech manufacturing firms, has led to publications in leading scholarly and practitioner journals. Her work on fostering collaborative teams and building innovative cultures in teams and organizations represents her most referenced work. Her research has led to the development of a body of knowledge associated with teamwork intelligence.

Dr. Hemant C. Sashittal (Ph.D., Syracuse University, Marketing and Management) is professor of marketing at St. John Fisher University’s School of Business. Much of his research is devoted to issues of implementation; i.e., what happens in organizations that can go beyond thinking and planning, and organize to produce the results. He has studied issues of implementation in exporting firms, in high-tech industrial manufacturing firms and channeled existing scholarship toward a technology of communication in teams essential for effective teamwork. Alan Witt (MBA, SUNY Polytechnic, Technology Management; MLIS, University of Rhode Island) is a faculty librarian at SUNY Geneseo, supporting the school of Business. He conducts research in the areas of experiential learning, the use of artificial intelligence tools in research and pedagogy, and open pedagogical practices. He has developed multiple iterations of the research-validated Escape Room Experience for use in team building and classroom deployment.
